1. There must be a law in place that makes stealing public funds an offence punishable with a minimum sentence of life imprisonment. 2. The Immunity Clause at the Federal and State levels must go. 3. The Security Vote is an avenue for unprecedented
Corruption is the biggest problem in Nigeria. See what corruption has done to us:1. Nigeria has made $1 trillion since independence. Of this, $600 billion has been stolen by our leaders. Unprecedented daylight robbery and CORRUPTION!

Opening Remarks by Pastor Tunde Bakare at our public lecture on Monday, July 9, 2012 themed: WHY WE NO LONGER BLUSH: CORRUPTION AS GRAND COMMANDER OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
With
a heavy heart and great trepidation, I stand before you this first Sunday of
the year 2011 bringing you a message of hope in our seemingly hopeless
situation. In the apostolic tradition of the likes of Saint Paul, the apostle,
I stand in the place of weakness trusting God to make His strength perfect in
our weakness.
Exactly one year ago today, on the 10th of October, 2009, at the National Christian Centre in Abuja, we blew the Trumpet of Jubilee over our nation, Nigeria.
Saints and strangers,
Gentlemen of the Press. It gives me great pleasure once again to stand before
you and sound the alarm as we have always done when we foresee danger. It was
Thomas Jefferson, the 3rd American President, who spoke the immortal
words: “Eternal Vigilance Is The Price Of Liberty.”
Fellow citizens of our great country, those within our
borders and those in Diaspora, it has become necessary for us at this critical
juncture of our national life to bring a timely word to our people as we by
God’s grace make sense of the non-sense that has permeated our polity since
November 23, 2009 in the name of hanging onto power at all costs.
Fellow
countrymen and women, I am here this morning to give account and to explain to
every Nigerian why we took to the streets of Abuja, the Federal Capital
Territory, on January 12, 2010. Just like you, I have read in the Dailies the
comments of all and sundry regarding the “Save Nigeria Group\'s Enough is Enough
Rally”.
